The Rewards Group Sandalwood Project 2007 offers Growers the opportunity
to invest in a Project that will involve the establishment and operation
of an intensively managed Western Australian Sandalwood (Santalum
spicatum) plantation located within a 200km radius of Perth in the
Wheatbelt region of Western Australia.
With increased demand for
Sandalwood in Asia, declining global supplies, Government incentives for
forestry projects in Australia and environmental benefits, the
development of Sandalwood plantations in Western Australia makes sense.
Growers will receive
immediate tax benefits plus excellent projected returns upon harvest of
the Sandalwood trees on a progressive basis between the ages of 5 and
18.
Rewards Projects Ltd has
entered into three (3) legally binding Off-Take Agreements in relation
to five year old Sandalwood logs (known as Sandalwood sapwood) that may
be harvested as part of the first thinning of the Woodlots. Subject to
their terms, these agreements secure the sale of all five year old
Sandalwood logs from the Project.
The Sandalwood Project 2007
is the sixth in an ongoing annual release of Sandalwood plantation
forestry projects that have been offered by Rewards Projects Ltd.
