For a number of financial
planners and accountants the provision of agribusiness projects to their
clients is extremely profitable. With up to 10% commission and marketing
fees you can see why.
How
Much Commission We Receive?
Usually payments are
structured as 5% commission and a further 5% marketing allowance (total
of 10% brokerage). We will always rebate 100% of the commission, plus
part of the marketing allowance to provide you with up to 8% cash
back on your investment.
Be
Careful
Historically we have seen
people promoting the rebates that they provide as a percentage of
commission. However if you were to receive an 80% commission rebate that
would be only 4%. That is why we detail the rebates as a set % of your
investment (eg 8% rebate) so you know exactly what to expect.
A
Worked Example
Suppose you invest $50,000
(ex GST) into a project that is paying a 5% commission and a 5%
marketing allowance.
|
Amount Invested |
Commission Portion Rebate |

Total Rebate |

When
is the rebate paid?
This is extremely variable as
it depends on when Fundbroker receives the commission. As a general rule
it takes 4-6 weeks after your investment is finalised. As soon as we
are paid by the product provider we will contact you to obtain how you
want your rebate paid.
* Note with all projects
you pay GST on the application amount. The rebate that is paid on your
investment is not paid on the GST amount of the amount placed in a
project.
