Primary Yield is the trading name of Environinvest Ltd and has built a
reputation for developing a diverse range of quality agricultural
investments managed by industry specialists. These projects provide
investors with simple access to primary production businesses in which
they generally would not otherwise be able to participate. In 2005
Environinvest adopted the trading name of Primary Yield to better
reflect the broad range of agricultural investment opportunities it
offers.
In 1997 Primary Yield released its first eucalypt project and now
manages over 10,000 hectares of plantations, predominantly in Victoria.
In 2002, Primary Yield released Australia's first retail managed
investment scheme in the beef cattle industry with further cattle
projects released in 2003, 2004 and 2005. In 2005 Primary Yield sold all
its beef cattle operations involving 55,000 head of cattle agisted in
Tasmania, New South Wales and Queensland. In 2005 Primary Yield released
Australia's first retail managed investment scheme in the cropping
industry involving 14,000 hectares stretching from northern New South
Wales to the western districts of Victoria.
In 2006 Primary Yield again broke new ground with Australia's first
retail managed investment scheme for the production of high value Truss
tomatoes. The Tomato Project involves one of Australia's largest and
most advanced glasshouses for the tomato production
