The Project
The Macquarie
Almond Investment 2007 project term is approximately 23 years. During
this time, you will carry on a business of cultivating, harvesting and
selling almonds. For each interest held in the project, you will be
granted a licence to access and use one almond lot, which is an
identifiable allotment of approximately ¼ hectare of land near Robinvale
in the Sunraysia district of Victoria. As part of the licence, you will
also be granted rights to use the almond trees and the irrigation
infrastructure on their almond lot.
Almond Project Summary
The first crop of the orchard should be harvested in April
2010. From this point, annual yields are expected to increase until the
almond trees reach full maturity in their seventh year. At maturity, the
orchard should be able to produce an annual yield of 3,460kg per hectare

Commissions & Cash Rebates
With tax effective
investments we will receive a commission that is not paid from your
investment amount. With the Macquarie Almond Investment 2006 this is 8%
commission. Commission is rebated depending upon the amount invest as
shown in the table below:

The cash rebate is paid to
you as soon as we receive our commission payment ex GST. Note the the
above table refers to the number of Almondlots, i.e. an investment of 5
lots would create a rebate of 5%, an investment in 6 lots would mean a
6% rebate.
