Investment Rebate System

Many of the investments that we list on the site do not have any entry fee, however they still provide a commission payment to us. Because there is no entry fee we are unable to provide you with additional units in the investment. Therefore we choose to provide you with a cash rebate and share the commission with you.

The amount of the rebate varies from investment to investment and is identified by a picture showing the rebate amount, for example:

An Example

An unlisted property trust, with no entry fee, is providing a 3% commission to us, and we are providing a 2% cash rebate.  You decide that you have an interest in this trust and lodge a $20,000 investment. From this we will receive a $600 commission, and we will provide you with a cash payment of $400 (2% rebate) once the commission is received.

By using our service you will receive a $400 payment. If you lodged this investment direct with the property trust you would not receive this cash payment.

Do you alter fees?

We do not alter the fee structure on the investments in any way. You get exactly the same fee structure as going direct, but you get the added bonus of receiving rebates.

When is the rebate paid?

The day that we receive the commission from the company we provide you with the rebate. The time it takes to be paid is the variable and will typically be 4 weeks for property trusts, and 4 weeks after the close date for other investments.
